The Hague Guitar Society (opgericht in 2018) organiseert, stimuleert en ondersteunt de klassieke gitaar (in de breedste zin des woords) in Den Haag en omgeving. De stichting tracht de gitaar in verschillende kunstdisciplines te vermengen. De stichting acht dit doel te bereiken door het organiseren van concerten en evenementen, festivals, workshops, tournees en muziek-educatieve projecten.

The "THE HAGUE GUITAR SOCIETY" aims to create a platform in order to:
- Stimulate the exchange of knowledge among professionals, teachers, students and amateurs.
- Support and promote the Classical Guitar Performance in the Netherlands & internationally.
- Educate and inspire younger generations to compose for and play the classical guitar.
- Organize concerts, lectures, competitions, workshops and showcases in the city of the Hague and surroundings.
De "THE HAGUE GUITAR SOCIETY" heeft tot doel een platform te creëren voor het:
- Stimuleren van uitwisseling van kennis tussen professionals, docenten, studenten en amateurs.
- Ondersteunen en promoten van de klassieke gitaar in Nederland en daarbuiten.
- Onderwijzen en inspireren jongere generaties om voor de klassieke gitaar te componeren en deze te spelen.
- Organiseren van concerten, lezingen, concoursen, en workshops in de stad Den Haag en omgeving.

The Foundation "The Hague Guitar Society" has created a new classical guitar stage in the center of The Hague with the Hague Guitar Series. We give special attention to high-quality performances and educational projects for young and old and we hope to maintain this! We are very happy that our concert series has been received with such enthusiasm by the public!
Unfortunately, the income from our concerts cannot cover all the costs related the organisation of our events. To guarantee the continuity and quality of the Hague Guitar Series, your contribution is more than welcome! Stichting The Hague Guitar Society heeft met de Haagse Gitaar Serie een nieuw klassiek-gitaar podium in het centrum van Den Haag gecreëerd. We geven speciale aandacht aan hoogwaardige uitvoeringen en educatieve projecten voor jong en oud en wij hopen dit in stand te houden!
